Christian is the founder of Headseast Ltd, an independent travel company running several boutique brands including The Luxury Train Travel Company.

After leaving university in London with a degree in property and finance Christian spent several years travelling Africa and Asia before landing a job in Hong Kong in a small travel agency. Before long he was transferred to Beijing where he ending up spending 11 years managing a specialist rail tours agency. On return to the UK he set up Headseast Ltd, initially specalising in China but branching out into Trans-Siberian trips, Latin America and Luxury Trains.

Philosophy & approach to work
With nearly 30 years experience in operating tours in such diverse and challenging countries as Mongolia and Bolivia Christian has seen and experienced many of the ups and downs of travel. The focus is always on the client and providing a bespoke, tailor made experience with an attention to detail and meeting the requirements of a wide range of clients with vastly differing budgets and expectations.
Personal information
When not tailoring trips for his clients Christian has been renovating his rural property and developing a 2 acre garden in Herefordshire. He still finds time for the main passion of his life, travel and takes many trips a year to research new destinations and revisit others.

Being the company owner Christian takes a hand in all aspects of the business but enjoys developing new tours and researching new destinations the company can offer to clients both repeat and new.

Member of ABTA (Association of British Travel Agents) and holds an ATOL license, essential to operate tours for a UK based company.

Generally available but officially works 9 am to 5pm Monday to Friday GMT.
