About The Prestige Continental Express Train
The Prestige Continental Express was created in 2003 and offers a luxury train that combines the elegance of the Orient Express with modern safety features.
The coaches were renovated in 2013 to offer a higher level of luxury. The upholstery was custom made from the same fabric mill that woven the fabric for the original Orient Express. The fixtures and lamps have been faithfully cast, and are based on the original Orient Express trains. Brass luggage racks over the seats and inlaid wooden on the walls create a rich ambience inside the coaches. The Prestige Continental Express was built on the basis of modern dining cars from Deutsche Bahn. It has all the modern safety features, comforts, and air conditioning.
There are three coaches on the train: the Salon Bleu, the Rubis Noir and two dining cars that can seat 48 people. The stylish Piano Bar “Le Diamant” completes the train. It also features live music throughout the day. With the finest local ingredients, guests will be treated to exquisite cuisine in the modern kitchen.
