Routes on the Deccan Odyssey
The Deccan Odyssey offers a selection of week-long rail journeys across western and central India, each designed to combine historic cities, cultural landmarks and scenic landscapes. Most departures begin and end in Mumbai, with routes travelling through Rajasthan, Gujarat or the Deccan region.
Popular itineraries include classic journeys through Rajasthan, visiting cities such as Udaipur, Jodhpur and Jaipur, as well as routes exploring Gujarat’s historic ports, temples and wildlife reserves. Other departures focus on the heritage and landscapes of Maharashtra and the Deccan Plateau.
Each journey is fully escorted and includes guided excursions, entrance fees, on-board accommodation, all meals and beverages, and attentive service throughout.
