About the Prestige Continental Express
Originally created in 2003, the Prestige Continental Express was designed to recreate the atmosphere of the golden age of European rail travel. The train’s coaches were extensively refurbished in 2013, combining classic styling with modern safety features and air conditioning.
Interiors include custom upholstery produced by the same mill that supplied fabric for the original Orient Express, along with faithfully recreated lamps, brass luggage racks and decorative wooden inlays. The result is an authentic Pullman-style environment with a warm, elegant atmosphere.
The train normally operates with three passenger coaches, two dining cars seating up to 48 guests, and the stylish piano bar car “Le Diamant”, where live music accompanies the journey.
